Joy Madison
My name is Joy Madison. I'm a stay at home and homeschooling mom of 3. My little monsters oh I mean darlings are Jaylie my 7.5 year old daughter, Jaden my 5 year old son, and Journey my 2 year old daugher. You are sure to see a lot of them over this year. I've been married to the love of my life, Jon for 8.5 year now. I'm originally from Washington D.C. and my marriage has taken me to Indiana for 6 years and now all the way out to the OTHER Washington where we've been living for the past 2 years. I'm a child of God, a wife, a mother, a sister and a friend!
I discovered scrapbooking 4 years ago. It seems like just yesterday I went to a crop at a LSS and met my new friend Jamie and picked up CK for the first time. Discovering scrapbooking as ART was just like falling in love. I've been falling deeper and deeper ever since. I want my pages to tell my story of faith, hope and love. I want my children, my husband and everyone who looks at my pages to see that love shining out.
I love color! I use a lot of color and pattern in my pages. Over the past year by focusing on working on art every day I've really found my style and I'm happy with it. My favorite brands are KI, and Making Memories and really anything with bright fun colors.
My favorite pattern of all is polka dots. I did a page the other day with 28 different polka dot patterns on it, and it wasn't even all of the ones I own! I love to wander around scrapbook stores and just look at and touch the papers and see what jumps out at me. I can get lost in online stores for hours and hours. I just love happy fun stuff. I'm a pretty serious person, but I get my happy on with fun product:)
