"Iron Man" and Hooters   Ibeckerca Tuesday, 13 May 2008

My DH and DD gave me another Precious Moment and lots of cards.   My DD made some handprints to use as magnets.
As everyone knows, Mother's Day is quite busy at the local restaurants.   So to save my family the frustration, I suggested going to see "Iron Man" (which was reallly good) and going to Hooters for dinner.
We were able to see the first showing of "Iron Man" that Sunday morning; 10:05 am.   I was really surprise how well it was done.   I actually stayed after the credits to see the spoiler for the sequel.
Hooters was not even busy.   So we were able to be seated and served.  I  was able to have my fried pickles (no I'm not expecting) and a chicken ceasar salad along with my steam oysters.   It did take a while for my oysters to be steamed.
I was back in time to watch "Survivor" season finale while I worked on DD's teacher appreciation gifts for this week (check the gallery at the end of this week to see what was made and what else we did).
All in all, It was a pretty nice day.
