Never too Late Pt.2   Ibeckerca Tuesday, 06 May 2008

Here are the remaining 6 LOs that I did at the all-day crop in honor of National Scrapbooking Day:
Still in Love- the dark gray border (going lengthwise) has been pleaded; 2 12x1 1/2" strips and 1/2 of 12x1 1/2" strip.   I found working with a grid makes the creases easier to do.
Surprise!- this a birthday gift  for my newly aunt.   It was her 70th birthday and I thought of doing a LO for her present.   The balloons are on wire (even though you can't see in the photo).   I used metallic silver paper for the mounting and the "happy birthday".
Age to Prefection- this was for my step-mom's album.   I wanted to use the door idea (see Merry Christmas '08) for this LO.   The only that I had a problem with was the titling.   I tried to use my Cricut but the space available on the LO was not big enough.   So I used the stickers which could have been used in a different color.
Grandma Grandpa- I used an idea layout from Close to My Hrt.   To add something different, I put the jeweled stickers on the top of the strip.
Nature's Masterpiece- I had seen one of my crop pals use metallic flakes on one of her LOs months past.   So I thought I would give it a shot.   I took Tacky Tape to the edge of the 5x7 photo, after mounting the photo on cardstock, and sprinkle and pressed the metallic flakes.   For the title, I took ribbon and wrapped it around.
Memories- I wanted to continue the color/pattern from "Masterpieces".   Again I used ribbon to attach the title to.
