I had to save some LOs to do for the all-day crop on Saturday (aka: Scrapbooking Day). During that time I was able to finish 9 LOs; five for my step-mom's album and 4 for mine. Out of the four, three of them are on the gallery. I forgot to take photos of my step-mom's LOs before giving them to her. There's a lot of techniques that I did on each LO and I would like to tell you about them. Oatman (pre-all-day crop)-> the photos of the town and its shop, I used a laser printer for them. Then I put packing tape over them and crop to size. After getting the air bubbles out and sizing, I placed them in H2O to soak the backing off. After 5-10mins, I peeled off the back, giving me the lifted image of the photo on the tape. I wrinkled up the 12x12 paper and proceeded to finish the LO. Love the Puppy- the squares on the left side are woven ribbons in a patch. I used my Cricut for the flower outline. At the center of each flower, I put a button. Dinner 4 Two- since the kitchen table happens to be a popular place for my cat to beat up the dog, I thought I would create a table setting with plate and silverware. I trace the silverware template onto card stock. I used silver embossing powder to give its ware look. Best Friend- I found that mosaic paper at Micheal's and wanted to use in one of my LOs. I found one LO concept from one of CM idea books. I matched up the colors in the mosaic paper and played around with them until they look comfortable all together. Then it was using the ruler to measure out the placement of each square. One of the outlining square, I just used stripes to give the square look.
