1. Yes you read that right this is challenge #8A!

The design team decided to shake things up a bit this month and bring you a challenge a week! Each Monday in March we will be bringing you a new challenge with lots of new inspiration to get you scrapbooking. You will have until the first Monday in April to upload your images from any of this month's challenges to the challenge gallery for a chance to be our April guest design team member.

First of all I just wanted to thank our current guest designer Paula, who created this amazing layout for the Design team gallery! Thank you Paula! We love it!

And second, we would like to announce the winner of the guest design team spot for March. We had more entries than ever before and it was very hard to pick. Thank you to everyone who participated!

We would like to congratulate Betsy (pharmgirl) for winning our March guest design spot! This lovely layout  just really caught our eye!

Please be aware that we are slightly changing the rules for applying for the guest design team position. If you would like to apply for the guest design team position please follow the below guidelines:

We are doing away with linking your images in the comments section of the blog. All you have to do now to apply for a guest design team position is:

1. Complete a layout/card/or other project for the current month's blog challenge before the first Monday of the next month.

2.  Make sure you upload your entry to the challenge gallery with the challenge # in your image title before the first Monday of the next month.

If you are selected you will receive a $10 gift certificate to the scrapbooks.com superstore to complete 1 layout for the design team gallery.  You may purchase any item you like from the scrapbooks.com superstore for your layout as long as it is not on clearance; sales items are okay. This layout will be due on the first Monday of the following month. You must link all products used in your layout to the scrapbooks.com superstore. You will also be given a link to a scrabooks.com guest design team blinkie you may use in the forums. If you are selected you will be ineligible to apply for the guest design team position for the following 2 months.

Guest design team entries will be judged on two areas. 1. The strength of the overall design, and 2. The best use of the current month's challenge.

Guest design team winners will be announce on the design team challenge blog the first Monday of each month.

Finally, I want to give you our current challenge. We want to challenge you to use your scraps! The design team has come up with some great layouts and cards using up their own scraps to hopefully inspire you. Check them out:
